The beautiful Glin Forest is the life-line of the Kerinthia. As well as suppling them with wood, it is also the source of all food. Beautiful and exotic trees grow here, including bananas and oranges. And a vast array of wildlife makes its home in the eaves, including deer and bears, and small bright-coloured birds, which the Kerinthia keep as pets on board their ships. Naturally, the forest is considered a sacred place, given to them by Kirina, and is treated as such. It is maintained and looked after with religious zeal.
Although too small to serve as a shipping lane, the river is home to several varieties of fresh-water fish, which is a favoured food of the Kerinthia. It is usually scattered with small fishing boats, from various tribes.
