PEOPLE AND CULTURES
Being an important and cosmopolitan country, Rhutalath is filled with both visitors and immigrants from all other the known world, especially Ardanians, Malidorans and Woodmen. Additionally, converts and pilgrims are often seen on the roads and in the inns, en route to the various holy sites of Rhutalath.
There are a few other races which make Rhutalath their home, as well- Troglodytes inhabit the moonstone Hills, whilst a few tribes of Gratar claim the Loeg Cabor swamp as their home. Sylphs dwell in the Vale of Unicorns, whilst the eaves of Taur Valax are patrolled by the lupine Vulfen, under the thrall of Valaxus. A small band of Elves, of Edehelnaure stock, make their home in the forests of Mantos.
* The Ursani are the original inhabitants of Rhutalath, and lived there long before the arrival of the Parzifans. The Rhutalathians warred against and subsequently drove out the Morrim. Most of the survivors have been assimilated into the Rhutalathian culture, though there are still a few isolated villages left, especially in Isana and the nearby border of Calendrudor. For more Information on the Ursani, see Salasia.
